Neptune, known as Poseidon in Greek mythology, is the god of the sea, water, and the unseen depths. Unlike the structured rule of Jupiter (Zeus) or the rigid law of Saturn (Cronus), Neptune embodies fluidity, mystery, and the uncontrollable forces of nature. He governs not only the physical ocean but also the vast, unfathomable realms of emotion, intuition, and the subconscious. Poseidon was both a creator and a destroyer, his trident could stir tempests or calm the waves, much like Neptune in astrology represents both inspiration and illusion, transcendence and confusion. His realm was vast, deep, and unpredictable, reflecting the infinite and immeasurable nature of dreams, visions, and spirituality.In Roman mythology, Neptune retained his connection to water but also became associated with horse taming and movement, symbolizing the power of unseen forces guiding existence. Like the ocean, he was unpredictable, sometimes benevolent, sometimes wrathful, a symbol of the thin line between chaos and divinity.
