Tarot As Language

Tarot is not merely a divinatory tool, though it has been used as such for much of its history. Originally, it was conceived as a game, but also as a way to celebrate the grandeur of noble families through imagery. When tarot was integrated into the esoteric world, the archetypes and symbols it contained became signs to decipher the unknown, a means to navigate that elusive space of the future that we all wish to master.
Later, with the rise of psychology and the exploration of the unconscious, tarot took on a new role, the possibility of understanding one’s inner world through archetypal symbols. It became a tool not just for divination, but for deep self-knowledge, allowing us to explore the depths of our psyche.
